Fat transfer surgery

Fat transfer, also known as fat grafting or lipomodelling is a cosmetic procedure when fat is removed from one part of the body and inserted to another. Such a Breast or Buttocks.

The procedure involves:

• Fat removing – using liposuction techniques
• Preparation of the fat by spinning to separate from blood and other fluids.
• Injecting the fat

Recovery

It can take couple of months to get full effect of the procedure and remember that some fat may be reabsorbed by your body and the recovery takes up to 3 months. You will be advised by your surgeon to wear compression garment and post-operative bra. The area where the fat was taken from needs a compression, but the area where the fat was injected does not. For this reason, we offer butt fat transfer garments with open buttock area or with thin mesh covering this part. For breast fat transfer we advise you to get larger size of post-operative bra, as breasts need support and stabilisation.
